Internal Medicine Crash Course (Abdomen)

In four hours, you will practise typical internal medicine cases focusing on the abdomen, just as they may appear in Part 3 of the exam — with a clear structure, targeted language, and personalised feedback from medical professional Frank Heilgeist.
Who is the crash course ideal for?
The crash course is particularly suitable if you
- want to fine-tune your skills shortly before the exam,
- feel unsure about presenting a case and answering follow-up questions in Part 3, or
- want to describe medical procedures and examinations clearly and in a structured way.

- Describing abdominal diseases and their differential diagnoses
- Anatomy and physiology of the internal organs, including blood vessels, duct systems, and intra- and extraperitoneal structures
- Acute abdomen from both an internal medicine and surgical perspective
- Explaining physical examination methods, including inspection, percussion, palpation, and auscultation
- Diagnostic investigations and the interpretation of ultrasound findings
